I’m 29 years old and have always been terrified of the dentist. Novocaine shots in particular have always been my biggest fear. I went to Dr. Orrick for 2 root canals and had a great experience.. he really knows what he’s doing! Dr. Orrick and his assistant Sarah are a wonderful team, and they both have fantastic bedside manner. Also, today was the first time I’ve received a Novocaine injection and by some miracle felt NO PAIN. This experience changed my life..which sounds dramatic, but it’s true. Thank you so much!

The office is great. Dr. Orrick is amazing. He has done a few procedures for me and every experience was great. They are compassionate and caring. I really liked how he explains what he's doing and how it will feel before he does the next step. They really care about my comfort as a patient, too. I would highly recommend using Gateway Endodontics for any procedure you need.

The staff were very polite and professional getting me scheduled in around my difficult schedule. Dr. Orrick had the best chair side manners and did a spectacular job keeping me at ease through the procedure. The entire process was as pleasurable as a trip to the dentist can get! I will definitely be recommending Dr. Orrick and Gateway Endodontics to friends, family, and clients!

I agree with other great reviews. I was able to get an appointment to evaluate 3 teeth quickly. Dr. Orrick explained everything and recommended a treatment plan. There was no pressure to get unnecessary and expensive treatment. His office staff worked with my insurance to get the most of it.

Update: Years later now and I have indeed gone back for another root canal! It was excellent! Fit me in right away and it was fast and pain free! I HIGHLY recommend this office and Dr.Orrick, his whole team is amazing! I wouldn’t go anywhere else! I had a lovely root canal done here and I would do it again! Staff and the Dr were friendly and professional, the price was reasonable and the gas must be top notch because I didn’t feel a thing! Highly recommend! Will definitely go again the next time my teeth betray me!

I am so shocked at how easy the root canal with Dr. Orrick was. I never had a root canal before, and I'm 40. He has his technique and art down - does it quick, gets you out quick, the process is mostly painless, even the recovery was painless for me. His anesthesia administration was also on point - he got it right the first time. Anytime I've had to get local anesthesia for anything anywhere else, the healthcare provider would have to try several times before I was numb. He was also super transparent about the process; there's a TV screen in front of you where he projects your x-rays and he explains the issue and what he's going to do to treat it. It's nice to know what's happening. As someone who always wants to know "why," I really liked that. Also, the woman at the desk is phenomenal (she's the same one who answers the phones). Her customer service skills, sharpness, and overall clarity and helpfulness is remarkable. She remembers details about you that surprised me (like which medications I'm allergic to, the fact I called her earlier in the week and she kept me in mind - and was able to get me in earlier two days later).

Damn, this guy is good. I'd give 6 stars if I could. I'm not good at the dentist and Dr. Orrick took care of me. I'll never be worried about a root canal again. Thank you!!!

Dr. Orrick does excellent work. He takes the time to explain each process and during the procedure he was gentle and made sure I was comfortable at all times.

I can’t say enough good things about this office. From the first phone call to make an appointment to my final visit I was treated very well by all the staff. I would definitely recommend them.
